At the heart of Love INC is a deep belief in the power of prayer. Prayer guides our ministry, strengthens our churches, and connects us to the heart of God as we serve our neighbors in need. Because prayer is one of our Core Principles, we desire for it to be woven into everything we do including our staff devotions, Board meetings, daily work tasks, and interactions with the families that we serve. We make it our goal to pray with everyone that we speak to on the phone or comes through the doors of Love INC.
Matthew 7:7-8 says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” This teaching through the Sermon on the Mount tells us that God hears us when we pray, and he will respond according to His will if we pray often and expectantly.
This is why we are excited to introduce the Rooted Hearts Prayer Team.
Here’s how the process works. Please complete and submit the form at the bottom of this page. On the third Monday of each month, Prayer Team members will receive an email with 5-6 specific prayer requests for our neighbors, staff, volunteers, leadership and partner churches. If you do not have an email, we can arrange for a paper copy of the prayer requests to be mailed to you by simply calling our office at 765-482-6152.
